Today, the WP & Y thrives as a heritage railway, allowing tourists close-up views of spectacular Alaskan scenery. This limited edition ready-to-run electric train set comes complete with an Anniversary Edition 4-6-0 steam locomotive (with operating headlight, smoke, speed-synchronized sound, metal wheels, siderods, and detail parts), coal tender, coach and observation car with metal wheels, 32 running feet of track that can build up to a giant 12´ x 6´ oval, engineer and fireman figures, power pack and speed controller, and illustrated instruction manual.
